Do I need any experience?
No. Foundation starts from the beginning: what AI training work is, how it’s judged and how it’s paid. The specialist tracks assume Foundation, and Expert Domains assumes you already know your field.
How long does it take?
Foundation is about 10 to 14 hours of study, a week or two of evenings for most people. Each specialist track is about 5 to 10 hours, and each examination takes 60 or 70 minutes. You go at your own pace, and the CAITR™ designation needs Foundation plus 2 tracks.
How are the examinations marked?
Multiple-choice questions and other set answers are marked automatically. Written answers are marked against their criteria twice, independently, by an AI marker, and a third, independent marking decides anything the two disagree on. No person is involved in marking unless you ask for a review by a person, or a paper can’t be marked automatically. The pass mark is 70% overall on every examination, and you can appeal each paper once. The CAITR™ policies page has the full rules.
What does it cost?
Lessons and practice quizzes are free, and each examination includes two free attempts. You pay for further attempts and for the designation: see pricing. You can pay in US dollars, euros, pounds, rupees and six other currencies. Prices include any tax that applies.
What if I don’t pass?
You see your mark on every criterion of each written task, and your score for each module, so you know what to work on. Each examination includes two free attempts, and you can buy more.
Does it expire?
Your results don’t. The CAITR™ designation stays active while you make the free annual conduct statement. Anyone can check its status on the verify page.
Will platforms recognise it?
No platform formally recognises CAITR™, and no certificate guarantees work. It teaches the skills AI training projects look for and gives you proof you can put on your CV.
Is there an age limit?
Yes: CAITR™ is for people aged 18 or over. You confirm your age when you create your account, before each examination and when you claim the designation. A designation awarded to anyone under 18 is void, even if every other requirement was met: if we learn of it, we revoke it and cancel the results it relied on.
Is CAITR™ an official qualification?
No. It’s an independent professional designation from aitrainers.jobs, not a government or regulated qualification.
Is it only in English?
The course is in English, as most AI training work is. The Language & Audio track has you work in your own language as well.
