Extra time, under the Equality Act 2010
If a disability or long-term health condition affects how quickly you can work, tick “I need extra time” before you start. You get 25% more time, rounded to the nearest 5 minutes. You don’t need to give a reason or any proof. If you need any other adjustment, email [email protected] before you start, and we’ll work it out with you.
How the examinations work
- About a third of the marks come from scenario questions and two thirds from hands-on tasks, each marked against criteria you see while you answer.
- The pass mark is 70% overall, and 2 attempts at each examination are included.
- Your answers are saved as you go. When time runs out, the paper is marked as it stands.
- You may use the lessons, your own notes and a calculator, but not AI tools, search engines or anyone’s help.
