Physicist

DataAnnotation

$40–125/hr 6 countries Full-time Mid level

Remote work crafting physics problems that test AI reasoning and writing gold-standard solutions. Suits physicists with graduate-level training or research experience across at least two core areas.

Overview
Models can recite physics and still get it wrong: dimensional errors, misapplied approximations, and derivations that skip the step where the physics actually happens.
As a Physicist you'll evaluate AI reasoning across mechanics, E&M, quantum, and thermodynamics, and write solutions with the care of a good problem-set grader.
What you’ll actually do

  • Craft problems that expose weak physical reasoning, from undergraduate mechanics to graduate-level theory.
  • Review AI solutions for dimensional errors, misapplied approximations, and skipped steps, and rate the reasoning.

- Write the gold-standard solution when the model falls short, showing the physics clearly at every step.
Roles this fits
Common backgrounds: Physicist, Research Scientist.
What we look for

  • Graduate-level physics background or equivalent research experience.
  • Comfort working problems across at least two core areas of physics.
  • Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.

- No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.
