Retail Sales and Wholesaler Expert

AfterQuery is seeking Retail Sales and Wholesaler Experts to create and refine retail and wholesale industry challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate sales and distribution scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex retail and wholesale principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world merchandising, inventory management, and customer service situations with precision and practical insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven retail and wholesale practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of commerce technology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality retail and wholesale questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as inventory management, pricing strategies, customer service, merchandising, vendor negotiations, sales forecasting, loss prevention, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to retail and wholesale best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with a team of retail and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience in retail sales, wholesale distribution, merchandising, or store operations with a robust understanding of various sales channels and business models.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
