This is a fully remote, asynchronous contractor opportunity. Experts complete one task per day on average, with each task focused on realistic software engineering workflows that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems.
COMPENSATION
- $300 per completed task

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking experienced backend software engineers with:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Python proficiency, including experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Experience building and maintaining backend applications
- Familiarity using Git, Docker, and modern development workflows
- Daily proficiency with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools
Strong candidates will also demonstrate:
- A solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and code quality
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in distributed engineering teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
While not required, experience in any of the following is a plus:
- AI evaluation, benchmarking, or model assessment
- AI data creation or annotation workflows
- Building SaaS integrations or APIs
- Developing QA frameworks or evaluation methodologies
- Designing realistic, long-horizon software engineering tasks for AI systems
SELECTION CRITERIA
Candidates whose profiles are selected will complete a 90-minute technical screening focused on Python and Docker.
Participants who:
- Successfully pass the screening
- Join the study
- Complete at least one task
will receive a $100 onboarding bonus in addition to standard task compensation.

- Duration: 2-3 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
